Court Hosts Annual Young Women’s Power Lunch to Celebrate Women’s History Month
In celebration of Women’s History Month, the Santa Clara County Superior Court hosted its annual Young Women’s Power Lunch on Thursday, March 27, 2025. The event brings together dozens of attendees, including over 70 young women from local middle schools through high schools. It provides a unique opportunity for young women to connect with mentors from various fields, including female judicial officers, attorneys, elected officials, and local leaders. See the court's event summary, which highlights the participation of two judges who are former Santa Clara County Public Defenders, Hon. Shelyna Brown and Hon. Kelley Paul. Public Defender Lisseth Valencia actively participated in the event this year as well (photographed below).
